It is hard to describe the majestic beauty that is The Taj Mahal.  When I first walked up to it and saw it my eyes welled up.  One of my dreams come true.  We were actually standing in front – we weren’t seeing this as a cut out on my vision board, or in a picture in a magazine, but there in the shadow of a glorious wonder.

Visiting the Taj Mahal has been on my “bucket list” for years, but I had no idea that THIS would be the year.  That’s the thing with our hopes and dreams – we plant the seeds, but we don’t know the length of the gestation period.  In August we were invited to a wedding in India for November and this is how I was able to stand in front of The Taj Mahal alongside my husband and two boys.

A structure that took 22 years to build (talk about persistence and determination) at a time when  modern machinery did not exist.  It was a process as slow and precise as needed to create something of beauty. A vision started as a dream and soon became marble and stone.

I don’t know how long it will take for you dreams and desires to take shape, but don’t give up.  We can’t wait to behold your creations and you are probably closer than you think.
